OneNeck® IT Solutions has signed a new three-year contract with Wyandot, Inc. As part of the contract, OneNeck is providing the Wyandot, Inc. family of organizations with a Cisco Unified Communications solution, managed services and IT hardware that integrates the organization’s nine locations throughout Kansas City, Kan.
Wyandot, Inc. agencies provide community-based mental health and housing services in the area. To support its community-based services, Wyandot identified the need to upgrade its communications solution. The organization had a Cisco solution that was aging, the support was ending, and the lease was expiring. In addition, personnel responsible for managing the solution’s Voice Administration had transferred to a new position.
“It was daunting to think about upgrading our system and simultaneously hiring a new employee to come in, set it up and manage it,” said Dennis Sharier, director of Information Technology/HIPAA security officer at Wyandot. “We started exploring our options and met with OneNeck. The company’s team really took the time to understand our needs and then proposed a solution that included managing our system while minimizing our employees’ time.”

OneNeck installed a new Cisco Voice solution — the Business Edition 6000 — which includes: video telepresence, Jabber Presence and Instant Messaging; Cisco softphones; ISI Infortel Call Management and Reporting solution; Singlewire Advanced Paging Notification; and Cisco desktop video endpoints. OneNeck is also monitoring and managing the system 24/7 as well as providing comprehensive software and hardware support with software assurance.
