OneNeck® IT Solutions, a leading provider of IT hardware and professional services, announced today the signing of a new contract with Frontier Co-op. OneNeck will provide Frontier Co-op with Cisco-based IT hardware along with a complete IT assessment and roadmap.
“With the important business initiatives we have planned for the coming years, we need to improve the functionality of our IT system,” said Tim Kleppe, IT manager at Frontier Co-op. “Through our partnership with OneNeck, I’m confident we will be able to not only improve, but maximize our system.”
In addition to upgrading its current system, Frontier Co-op also wanted to improve wireless reception throughout its facilities to increase employee productivity.
Kleppe said, “Having a strong, secure wireless system is critical to getting work done efficiently and effectively in all aspects of our business. We looked to OneNeck to assess, identify, and mitigate any issues with our current system.”
Frontier Co-op specializes in natural and organic products. They are a leading supplier of organic herbs and spices and hold a leadership position in the effort to convert food producers to sustainable farming and production practices. Frontier Co-op takes pride in offering easy access to high-quality, competitively priced choices that are environmentally friendly and socially responsible.
“In order to enhance Frontier Co-op’s IT performance, we first needed to understand what was happening and why,” said Terry Swanson, senior vice president of Solutions Providers at OneNeck. “We started with a complete network assessment on both their wired and wireless networks. After clearly identifying the issues, we put together a plan to address all the concerns and defined a solution that would meet all their performance goals while mitigating the financial expense to them.”
According to Swanson, performing the complete network assessment allowed OneNeck to increase the Co-op’s network performance dramatically. He says, “This enabled Frontier Co-op to provide a better end-user experience for their staff, extend the life of some legacy video systems, and implement new collaboration technologies.”
OneNeck offers a full suite of tailored end-to-end IT solutions. The company also has Tier 3 data centers in Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Arizona, Oregon and soon, in Denver, Colorado.
