Derek DeHaan is the manager of Hosting Architecture at OneNeck IT Solutions. He has nearly 15 years of experience in IT architecture, data center design and strategy, and data center migration services. He also spent significant time in the software development space while working to develop a thermal and capacity management software platform.

His career spans a variety of technical and leadership positions with several IT firms. Most notably as a consultant, Derek provided guidance, recommendations and strategic visions for many of the Fortune 500 companies based in the Twin Cities area, including Target, US Bank, Medtronic and Best Buy. Through providing strategic direction to these companies, Derek has helped many organizations make a successful transition into outsourcing some or all their IT needs. Derek has multiple certifications and specializations across a breadth of hardware, software and business application areas.

Derek has a love for sports, pretty much any sport but specifically wake surfing. He spends most of his summer weekends on the lake at his family cabin in western Wisconsin. He really tries to get as much surfing in as possible, despite the short Minnesota and Wisconsin summers. Derek also enjoys playing and watching hockey and wouldn’t miss the opportunity to catch a Minnesota Wild hockey game.

Derek earned his Bachelors of Science in Information Technology, with minors in business and accounting, from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities campus.

Jim joined OneNeck in 2014 as the Director of Sales and Architecture. He was quickly promoted to Vice President of Sales and responsible for driving the company’s
revenue, partnerships and, most importantly, customer satisfaction. In late 2018, Jim transitioned into his current role.

Prior to joining OneNeck, Jim was with a worldwide IT technology conglomerate where he successfully supported a broad base of technologies and customer segments.

Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, a Master of Science in Information Systems from Colorado Technical University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Colorado.

As the director of Enterprise Hybrid IT, Scott Gorden is responsible for delivering a first-rate customer experience, which begins with helping clients identify the right IT solution. He is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients and vendors across the Midwest. In addition, Scott maintains accountability for ensuring top-quality service levels. 

Scott leads a seasoned team of employees with deep technical and service expertise. Under Scott’s direction, the team provides superior customer service. They are dedicated to working closely with clients to design, procure, implement, manage/operate and optimize mission-critical IT solutions. Depending on the client’s needs, the solutions vary from on-premises to colocated in a OneNeck continuously maintainable data center, leveraging our ReliaCloud Iaas/PaaS platform or a hybrid of these options. Scott’s mission is to help customers balance complex IT needs with budget and risk tolerance.

Scott maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in numerous professional societies. Prior to joining OneNeck in 2002, Scott was the Client Relations manager for a large technical training company in Des Moines, Iowa.

Scott attended Des Moines Area Community College and Iowa State University. He resides in Iowa and is a passionate instrument-rated pilot.

Amy Gregory is the director of Product Marketing at OneNeck. She utilizes her years in both technology and marketing to translate OneNeck’s products and services into go-to-market messaging and content. With the increasing role content plays throughout the buyer’s journey, Amy has brought it front and center in OneNeck’s marketing campaigns. Amy works closely with her team to bring the company’s products and services to life on the website and on all collateral.

Amy has been with OneNeck since 2006. During this time, Amy’s role has evolved from traditional marketing role to leading the marketing effort in Colorado. Today, her role is more technical in nature and she dedicates the majority of her time leading the company’s message and content development efforts across OneNeck’s portfolio of products and services, as well as driving engagement across the buyer's journey.

Prior to joining OneNeck, Amy was a technical writer for an up-and-coming Internet Service Provider in the hospitality industry. During her tenure with them, Amy worked closely with the engineers (sometimes on-site and hands-on cabling cabinets) chronicling the required steps to ensure a repeatable install process as the company expanded globally. In addition to writing for the installation team, Amy also developed copy for the software and firmware developers, database administrators, web developers and numerous other areas of the business.

In her spare time, Amy enjoys spending time with her family. She and her husband are actively involved in their son’s high school extra-curricular activities (namely the marching band and Boy Scouts). She also enjoys hosting dinner parties, hiking and skiing in the beautiful Rocky Mountains.

Amy earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Tennessee. She currently resides in Denver.

Explorer-John-HeinAs a Product Director at OneNeck IT Solutions, John brings more than 25 years of industry experience to his role. John helped launch OneNeck’s ReliaCloud platform in 2012. John now leads the product development initiative to bring the next generation of ReliaCloud to market. ReliaCloud, a private cloud hosting platform, was originally based upon a 3-tier architecture and migrated to hyperconverged leveraging Nutanix.

Before joining OneNeck, John enjoyed helping customers with Colocation, Cloud and Managed Services needs as a Solution Architect. He also was core to launching several IT services startups. In addition to a BFA for Computer Animation from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point, John holds a number of technical and sales certifications including Nutanix NCP and NCSR-L3.

Jim Hoefler is a Practice Manager within the Collaboration group at OneNeck. He has more than 15 years of field experience working with Cisco Unified Communications and Collaboration including voice, video and contact center projects ranging in size from 15 to 10,000 phones. Jim also has extensive experience working on a variety of network and wireless projects as well as Windows Server platforms and Exchange mail servers.

Having joined OneNeck in 2004, Jim has had various roles, including Network Engineer, Team Lead and Engineering Manager. Prior to joining OneNeck, Jim was a Network/Systems administrator, responsible for all network, systems and telecom infrastructure, for the City of West Des Moines in Iowa.

Jim graduated (summa cum laude) from Upper Iowa University (Des Moines campus), in Fayette, Iowa with a Bachelor of Science degree in Technology and Information Management Systems. He is a Cisco Certified Network Associate. When not working, Jim enjoys gardening, hiking, fishing and golfing and spending time with family and friends.

Mike joined OneNeck in 2002 and today, has more than 20 years of IT experience. His goal is to consistently help clients translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. In addition to working with customers, Mike actively identifies new technologies and solutions, then facilitates integrating them into OneNeck’s solutions portfolio. In addition, Mike trains an array of employees on the company’s overall technologies. He has also created installation documentation and consistently identifies, and teaches, best practices.

Mike attended the Communication College of the Air Force and earned his Associate’s Degree as an Instructor of Technical and Military Sciences.

Thomas Lehrer is responsible for all virtualization projects at OneNeck and works closely with various teams to develop customer-ready products. In particular, Thomas handles a majority of OneNeck’s ReliaCloud IaaS offerings and supplemental services. He is a Citrix Certified Expert in Virtualization, VMware Certified Professional and Microsoft Certified Solutions expert.

Based in Tempe, Arizona, Thomas joined OneNeck in February 2011. He has more than 20 years of experience performing application and presentation virtualization implementations utilizing Citrix products. He also has nearly 20 years of experience in server virtualization utilizing VMware products. He was also a major contributor on a hosted desktop solution that earned OneNeck an “Innovator of the Year” (in the small company category) award from the Arizona Technology Council in 2011.

Thomas has experience helping customers improve overall operations through a variety of virtualization projects. In fact, he successfully helped the world’s second largest copper mining company virtualize their ERP system, using application virtualization technologies. He also used server virtualization technologies to re-engineer the classroom delivery infrastructure at one of the largest online college’s in the country. Following 9/11, he helped a major financial institution with the rapid recovery of their operations, using both application and server virtualization technologies. He has also extensive experience working with national healthcare providers to unify and secure EMR access across multiple facilities, using server and application virtualization.

Thomas is passionate about all forms of aviation. When not working, Thomas can be found in the air — power paragliding. He also attends jazz/swing dance events around the world and enjoys learning about the East Coast, Lindy Hop, Collegiate Shag, St. Louis Shag, and Balboa.

Thomas attended the University of New Mexico where he studied biology and computer science while competing in NCAA athletics as a wrestler.

Scott Morley is a Principal Application Architect at OneNeck and responsible for providing guidance and advisory services. He centers his time on Microsoft Dynamics and Azure solutions in the areas of architecture, performance engineering, application integration and leveraging the hybrid cloud.

With more than 20 years of IT and business experience, Scott is proficient in software development, security and enterprise application implementation. He has an extensive technical background in the Microsoft stack and exceptional knowledge of MES systems. Prior to joining OneNeck, Scott was a technical manager on multiple ERP implementations. He also developed and managed an AX infrastructure team. He has assisted clients in re-architecting cloud environments to consolidate resources and alter networking to reduce monthly costs on infrastructure and data transfers. In addition, Scott has experience implementing IaaS, PaaS and SaaS solutions, including redesign of applications to move clients from IaaS to PaaS.

As an experienced business analyst and cloud infrastructure specialist, Scott has a data-centric approach which provides clients a unique perspective of the workloads and dependencies involved in architecting an effective cloud migration strategy. Scott holds a D.E.C. diploma in Computer Science from Dawson College in Montreal, Quebec. He has also earned Microsoft and SANS security certifications.

As the practice director focused on Security & Enterprise Networks, Nick Santilli leads the cybersecurity and enterprise networking engineering teams at OneNeck IT Solutions. He is responsible for strategic direction in these practice areas and spearheads the onboarding of new products and services, channel partnerships, sales enablement, solution architecture (pre-sales engineering) and advanced services (post-sales engineering).

A veteran technology professional, Nick has been with OneNeck for more than a decade. Throughout this time, he has built and led engineering teams while developing, selling and implementing highly-complex IT solutions across many verticals.

During his tenure at OneNeck, Nick has specialized in—and developed—multiple technology practices. This includes cybersecurity, his most recent focal point; and, previously, the Contact Center Enterprise team, of which he was a founding member. His attention to detail and development/adherence to business processes have built efficiency and repeatability and are key factors to the success of these practices.

Nick currently works out of the office in Denver, Colorado. Prior to OneNeck, Nick was a software engineer and information architect, designing and programming enterprise web portals for prominent telecom companies.

Derek Schipper is the director of Service Delivery at OneNeck. In this role, he is responsible for the health and satisfaction of our Managed Services customers.

Derek joined OneNeck in 2012 following nearly 20 years with parent company Telephone and Data Systems and its subsidiaries U.S. Cellular and TDS Telecom. At OneNeck, Derek is responsible for the on-going satisfaction of Managed Services customers. He oversees the Service Delivery Managers, who are the primary point of contact for customers with recurring services.

During his tenure with OneNeck, Derek has had accountability for leading a team of Engineers and Administrators across all of the OneNeck locations. He was also responsible for managing the consolidation of the Operations department —from five companies into a single one.

Derek holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. He also holds an ITIL Service Management Essentials, Information Technology certification. Outside of work, Derek serves on the advisory board at Madison College, based in Madison, Wisconsin.

Andres Torrado is a Security Architect at OneNeck. In this role, Andres is responsible for securing resources and systems to aid the Operations team when an incident arises.

With more than 10 years of information security experience, Andres joined OneNeck in July 2016. Prior to joining OneNeck, he served as the Chief Information Security Officer in Florida’s department of Financial Services. In this role, he was closely aligned with the executive leadership team in order to successfully coordinate projects and initiatives within the information security program. Following a department re-organization, the security operations team was created, which Andres led. One of his critical roles was ensuring the department was Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliant.

Andres holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Arizona. He has also earned GCCC – GIAC Critical Controls Security certification from the SANS Institute (SysAdmin Audit Network Security). In addition, Andres is a Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA), Juniper Network Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA) and Accredited Configuration Engineer (ACE) for Palo Alto Firewalls. Outside of work, Andres enjoys coaching in the Tallahassee Park District as well as reading, family-time and playing in an adult baseball league.

Jeff Volkert directs and leads the Advanced Services Project Management Office (PMO) at OneNeck. He spends a majority of his time collaborating with the Sales, Architecture and Operations teams on strategic initiatives designed to improve the overall delivery of OneNeck’s services. In all, he has more than a dozen years of experience as a project manager, manager and leader.

Jeff joined OneNeck in 2012 as a senior project manager responsible for delivering large complex projects and programs to customers while simultaneously developing project management templates for the newly formed PMO. In this role, Jeff developed the Project Management (PM) processes and procedures for PMO while successfully delivering one of the largest professional services projects in the company’s history.

Successes led to advancement opportunities for Jeff here at OneNeck, first to the role of PMO manager and then to his current role as director of Advanced Services. During his tenure, Jeff was appointed to lead the merger of the Professional Services and Service Transition teams. He also co-led implementation of the company’s Changepoint Professional Services Automation software. In addition, Jeff was responsible for developing the project methodologies framework and then introduced the process to the entire Advance Services and Sales teams earlier this year.

Jeff is based in Denver, Colorado. He is an avid sports fan and active playing ice hockey, golfing, skiing and mountain biking. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from Colorado State University in Ft. Collins, Colorado. He is also a Project Management Professional (PMP).
