Work within a team to manage and support complex Windows environments and projects. Evaluate customer requirements, constraints and develop optimal architecture design. Provide hands-on configuration and validation of design, as well as production deployment and migration. The candidate must be able to document design, configure and produce project results. Provide knowledge transfer to technical staff and update management. This position is responsible for administrating multiple Windows server environments. The major focus of this position is to support and or manage server environments and projects as assigned, perform system software installations and upgrades. Provides training and technical support to support staff. Monitor server platforms to achieve optimum performance levels and make preventative adjustments as necessary. Provides in-depth diagnosis for operational systems software/hardware failures and develops solutions. Install server related hardware and software according to schedule, scope of objectives and standards. Create and maintain documentation on the client's server environment. Determines strategies and standards and provides capacity planning. The candidate should possess a strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems from Windows NT through Windows 2003 – heavy Active Directory, and Exchange experience required

*Plan, design, and implement information systems based on Windows solutions
*Plan and coordinate change management activities within the team
*Ensure compliance and respond to IT audit and governance actions
*Training and mentoring staff
SKILLS /EXPERIENCE NECESSARY:

•Expert Knowledge of Windows NT, 2000, 2003
•Expert Active Directory Design and Implementation
•Expert knowledge of Microsoft Exchange (5.5, 2000, and 2003) w/ migration experience
•Strong SAN and NAS Experience
•Strong Windows Clustering Experience
•Strong Security (rights, privileges, accounts) and hardening (upgrades, patches, registry) techniques
•Specialized services including IIS, RADIUS, DFS, MS Clustering, WINS, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Proxy
•Microsoft Windows Scripting Technologies
•Understanding of Networking and Security Technologies•On-Call Rotation
•Tape and Disk Backup
•Server Monitoring Tools
•Strong Analysis and Communication Skills as well as the ability to resolve complex technical problems

SKILLS /EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
•Microsoft 2008 Server
•Virtualization Platforms: Microsoft, VMWare ESX
•Exchange 2007 Experience (a plus)
•Citrix Experience (a plus)
•MCSE

EDUCATION
•At least two years of college or equivalent experience

TRAVEL:
•Up to 25%

YEARS OF RELATED EXPERIENCE
4+ years of experience in advanced Windows technologies
